Express Yourself!  Never Give Up!

This is my Son, “J”.  He lost his father to a car accident in Jan. 2009.  He had a long time of living without him, but he cherished the time he was able to have every year for the past 8 years.  His heart is hurting but his spirit is not broken.  He made this picture for the world to see his view of what life is.  The caption on the picture states;  “No Matter what obstacles there are to overcome, you can always reach your dreams”  Then it states;  “Never Give UP!”

Powerful to let emotion move you to reflect even at age 14.  He has lost a lot, but is determined to win at life and what he wants from it.

I take lessons every day from my children.  They can teach you through the eyes of innocence.  I know through self focus and self expression, he will be ok and will “Never Give Up”!

What is it that holds you back?  What is there that you need to let go?  WE cannot change the past but we can direct our future.  When you doubt remember that even though you have problems and hard times, there is someone that has it worse.  What does your future hold?  Are you able to move on or do you have something weighing you down?  If there is, then I encourage you to look at what a 14 year old boy wants you to know… “Never Give Up” and make your future better.

Never Give Up

When times are hard and the pain over takes you…

Let it go and mourn it through…

Don’t be afraid to express the sorrow you feel…

Learn what it is teaching you….now be still…

Open your heart and let it go….

Bring forth the tears and let them flow…

Until you no longer can cry for what is past…

For now you have a new future at last….

Never give up or lose your dreams….

Even though it hurts it isn’t as it seems…

It is a lesson you must learn to move on…

Be strong and live for the past is now gone….
